New Gathering Vase Flower Arrangements

With just four weeks away from Mothers Day we have begun working on some of our new arrangements for the website. These four new arrangements are created in a new vase called a Gathering Vase that are available in White Orange Yellow and Green. We love these new vases and the four arrangements that we have created are starting to get some of our customers attention.

The first of these is our White Gathering. This all White Flower Arrangement is created using a Frosted White Vase with Tiger Lilies Gerbera Daises Alstromeria Bells Of Ireland Bear Grass and Stock. This arrangement is perfect for Mothers Day or or even for sympathy flower arrangement.

Our Second Arrangement Is The Orange Gathering. This arrangement is created with a Orange Gathering Vase with Gerbera Daises Lisianthus Roses Alstromeria Bells Of Ireland Wax Flower and Curly Willow. This brightly colored arrangement is also a great choice for Birthdays Anniversary or even a nice get well flower arrangement.

One of things that we do here is to create our flower arrangements so that when the recipient receives their flowers they look exactly as they appear on our website. There is no need for us to substitute our products because most of our flower arrangements are created with products always available in our store.

Our Third Arrangement is The Yellow Gathering. This arrangement is created using a honey yellow gathering vase with snapdragons tiger lilies yellow buttons gerbera daises bells of ireland hypericum bear grass and solidaster. Another Bright and colorful arrangement for any occasion including Birthdays Anniversaries or even for Administrative Day. This year Professional Administrative Week begins on April 20th thru April 26th 2008. Look for more arrangements being added just in time for that special employee to our website.

Not to many people realize this but many of our arrangements continue to be ordered time and time again because of our consistent commitment to quality of our products. Rest assure that all of our arrangements will always be made with fresh flowers and always our guarantee that they will last longer and look great.

Our final arrangement is the Red Gathering. This arrangement is created using a green gathering vase with red roses hypericum tulips bells of ireland and bear grass.

These flower arrangements are available for ordering on our website and will be available as part of our Mothers Day Flowers. This year we will be limiting the products to the flower arrangements available on our Mothers Day Page and all flower arrangements can be delivered to the cities of Tustin Irvine Santa Ana Costa Mesa Newport Beach Orange Lake Forest Anaheim Mission Viejo Laguna Hills Corona del Mar Fountain Valley Garden Grove Fullerton Brea Yorba Linda Placentia San Juan Capistrano Coto de Caza Trabucco Canyon Laguna Beach Dana Point San Clemente Stanton Westminster.

Mother's Day Flower Arrangements

Well with just a little over one week away from Mother's Day. It is time to talk about some of our new arrangements that will be featured this year on the Website.

Our First arrangement is one of our new Crystal Vases for Mother's Day that we just received this week. It features a crystal vase with Roses Stargazer Lilies And Dendrobium Orchids.

This arrangement will be limited so order early.

Our second arrangement is an idea we played around with last year using ceramic cookie jars as containers and using the theme of the cookie jar such a birthdays or get well arrangements. This year we have found a new container that was perfect of this occasion.

The Mother's Day Cookie Jar Arrangement features a ceramic cookie jar complete with lid placed on the top of the arrangement. The arrangement is made up with Lilies Stock and Roses. A compact and lush arrangement with a reusable container say for some of our fresh baked cookies?

Anyways did I mentioned this was my 100th post. Our blog has now been up for just over a year and we are at our 100th post. I don't think I am getting any medals or anything. Perhaps someone could hook me up with some free FTD stock or something.

Regardless of the bogus predictions from FTD about Mother's Day sales. We here at Everyday Flowers feel this will be one of strongest holidays since we took over. Last month was our second largest month in Sales on our website.

We would also like to thank our customers that have been sending us feedback with their orders about the website and the products that they have ordered. It really has been helping figure out what consumers are looking for and how we can provide the great products our customers are looking for.

Also to the hardcore customers that continue to order every single week from our webiste. You know who you are and again with out you we wouldn't be where we are today.

I also like to share our new look that was given to one of our deliveryVehicles this past week. It shows one of our arrangements that was featured last summer in Orange County Home Magazine in July.

We are very happy with the way it came out and the response from fellow florist as well as customers has been very exciting to hear. We just needed something to get peoples attention instead of blending in with some of the other flower shop vehicles on the road.

The front end of our shop is also under renovation and should be completed this weekend here is a sneak peek. Our location inside the Tustin Business Park doesn't give us to much walk in traffic however with more customers wanting to check us out we felt we needed something eye catching when they walk into the door. With our additional work area that was added just before Valentine's Day our shop is now almost 3000 square feet. We will be also installing some new cameras and software for our webcam in the coming weeks so look for that update on our website. We should have a movable camera that will allow customers to really look around the back area of our store to get the behind scenes of our operation.

Well time to go to bed and just one little quick reminder.

Don't forget Mother's Day is on Sunday May 13th!!!

Sincerely

Eric & Linh Shaw

Mother's Day Top 10 Floral Tips

Thanks To Live Magazine, the promotion of using your local florist is creeping into the spot light. With Mother's Day one month away here are the top 10 floral tips when ordering flowers for Mother's Day.

1. Get full value for your dollar. By comparing prices and arrangements with local florists, you can be sure to get products that equal the value dollar!

2. Make sure you get what you order. If you do not receive what you were promised, contact the florist immediately and politely explain you specific situation. Most of the time local florists will happily deal with and fix the problem.

3. When you choose a special arrangement, you should get that specific arrangement. The arrangement may have been placed in the wrong container or have been mixed up with another order. Your local florist will most likely will fix the problem.

4. Call a local florist so that you can find out what flowers are available for the season. Some flowers are seasonal and real florists know this. So when you are unsure about this, be sure to contact a local florist for accurate answers.

5. Make sure all the fees are not paying a broker/middleman to forward your order to a local florist. The first lesson of savvy flower buying is to know with whom you deal and where they're located.

6. If you request a special delivery time, a local florist will always let you know if the specific delivery time is possible or not. Order gatherers may say their delivery will arrive as scheduled, but they really have no idea if this is possible until the local flower shop receives the order.

7. If you happen to like a special arrangement advertised by FTD, Teleflora, 1800flowers, or an order gatherer just call your local florist. Your local florist may already fill orders made through the above titles Teleflora FTD And 1800flowers. By placing flower orders directly with a local florist, they can save you the broker fee and the delivery fee will not come out of the value of the flowers.

8. Call a local florist to make sure a special container is available. If you contact your local florist by phone, they will make sure a special container, accessory, etc. is available. This helps the disappointment of later finding out it was not available but substituted with something similar.

9. If you are sending flowers out of the area... Call a local florist in your area to make sure the order was processed and check for no hidden fees. You cannot depend on florists you have not personally used. so it is best to get a reference.

10. Bypass the wire services. Consumers usually understand the value of placing orders direct with local flower shops that will design and deliver their bouquets. Recently, the web has opened the doors of local florists to consumers all over the world. Through bypassing the wire services and sticking with local florists, shoppers can easily avoid the affiliates pretending to be located in their towns.
