We have some beautiful arrangements ready for ordering on our website for this coming Mother's Day Holiday. With the full force of spring upon on us the availability of flowers can be seen in our shop and the size and quality can be seen in the product. Tulips are popular this time of the year but some of our other favorite flowers such as Snap Dragons and Stock are nice and full.

Even our roses are looking especially nice as we begin to received our shipments of fresh flowers this week. Mother's Day marks the end of the busy season for our shop and with the coming summer months we will begin to shift into the wedding season. Mother's day for us will also be a crucial starting point as we prepare to go through the slower summer months. New Arrangements Added To The Website

We have just recently added some new arrangements to the website. The first arrangement called Orange Tiger Lily Express. This arrangement feature Orange Tiger Lilies with Seeded Eucaliptus and Bear Grass placed inside a rectangular glass vase. As our lily arrangements have become more popular we have continued to add more arrangeemnts featureing other lilies. Our second arrangement is madre with Yellow Tiger Lilies. Not to much of a difference in the photo but in person the bright yellow really stands out comapred to the soft orange lily.

One of our most popular arrangements recently has been our Ocean Garden. We have changed up this arrangement by using Blue Hydrangea and Yellow Roses and Gerbera Daisies. The arrangement called Blue Dreams also has a new product that we have been testing that has blue water beads that expand once placed inside of the water that turns the water blue.

These arrangements and few others have been added to the website as we begin to create most of the flower arrangements that will be featured for our spring flowers section on the website.

Valentine's Day Is Thursday Feburary 14th

Yep its right around the corner and Valentines Week Starts Monday February 11th and runs through Friday February 15th. Here is a recent event that we set up to sell our loose flower wraps and orchid leis. Getting out and seeing customers face to face helps us promote our business.

Many customers are always excited to see us to finally put a face on that voice at the other end of the phone. Its not easy but its just one of the ways we here at Everyday Flowers are trying to get our name out there at promote our business.

Mother's Day Flower Arrangements

Well with just a little over one week away from Mother's Day. It is time to talk about some of our new arrangements that will be featured this year on the Website.


Our First arrangement is one of our new Crystal Vases for Mother's Day that we just received this week. It features a crystal vase with Roses Stargazer Lilies And Dendrobium Orchids.

This arrangement will be limited so order early.


Our second arrangement is an idea we played around with last year using ceramic cookie jars as containers and using the theme of the cookie jar such a birthdays or get well arrangements. This year we have found a new container that was perfect of this occasion.

The Mother's Day Cookie Jar Arrangement features a ceramic cookie jar complete with lid placed on the top of the arrangement. The arrangement is made up with Lilies Stock and Roses. A compact and lush arrangement with a reusable container say for some of our fresh baked cookies?

Anyways did I mentioned this was my 100th post. Our blog has now been up for just over a year and we are at our 100th post. I don't think I am getting any medals or anything. Perhaps someone could hook me up with some free FTD stock or something.

Regardless of the bogus predictions from FTD about Mother's Day sales. We here at Everyday Flowers feel this will be one of strongest holidays since we took over. Last month was our second largest month in Sales on our website.

We would also like to thank our customers that have been sending us feedback with their orders about the website and the products that they have ordered. It really has been helping figure out what consumers are looking for and how we can provide the great products our customers are looking for.

Also to the hardcore customers that continue to order every single week from our webiste. You know who you are and again with out you we wouldn't be where we are today.

I also like to share our new look that was given to one of our deliveryVehicles this past week. It shows one of our arrangements that was featured last summer in Orange County Home Magazine in July.

We are very happy with the way it came out and the response from fellow florist as well as customers has been very exciting to hear. We just needed something to get peoples attention instead of blending in with some of the other flower shop vehicles on the road.


The front end of our shop is also under renovation and should be completed this weekend here is a sneak peek. Our location inside the Tustin Business Park doesn't give us to much walk in traffic however with more customers wanting to check us out we felt we needed something eye catching when they walk into the door. With our additional work area that was added just before Valentine's Day our shop is now almost 3000 square feet. We will be also installing some new cameras and software for our webcam in the coming weeks so look for that update on our website. We should have a movable camera that will allow customers to really look around the back area of our store to get the behind scenes of our operation.

New Topiary Arrangements

We have just added four new topiary flower arrangements to the website.

These arrangements are carefully handtied and placed into a ceramic container. More flowers are added to the bottom of the container and a hand tied silk ribbon is added to the arrangement.

This arrangement is made with Stargazer Lilies Queen Annes Lace Hanging Ameranthus Lisianthus Roses Tulips Bells Of Ireland Wax Flower Bear Grass and Seeded Eucalyptus.

As we start heading into the beginning of spring look for more arrangements being added to our website every week.

An unexpected customer came into the store on Tuesday looking for something a little different for their event being held on Wednesday. After showing the customer many of our Tropical flowers in the store the customer decided to do something similar to the Orange Celebration that was featured in the Orange County Home Magazine Back in July of 2006.

The catch was it needed to be in the colors of the Google Logo. What a surprise that someone from Google would choose us to create something for their event at their offices in Irvine. Of course he found us Google when doing a search for a local florist in the area.

This arrangement features cut oranges placed against the inside of the Glass Vase. The flowers include a mix of tropical flowers Green Anthuriums, Orange Parakeet (Helconia) Green Cymbidium Orchids Yellow Oncidium Orchids also red Calla Lilies Bells of Ireland Snap Dragons Iris Red Roses Blue Hydrangea and Yellow Acacia.

We would like to thank the Google staff member for choosing us to create these beautiful arrangements for them.

Adding Flowers To Your Arrangement Or Wrap

Just finished updating our flower upgrade section with more options of adding differet types of flowers to arrangements or wraps. So if you need to send 14 roses for your 14th anniversary you could order the dozen roses and then go to the upgrade section and add two more. The upgrades include Roses, Gerbera Daisy's, Stargazer lilies, Sunflowers, Ginger, Cala Lilies and dendrobium Orchids.

Look for more flowers to be added to the upgrade section of the website.

Order Corsage And Boutineres

We have just added a way for students or parents to order Corsage And Boutineres from our website. We have included some of our own pictures of the Corsages and Boutineres with the options available to place orders.

We have created a very easy to use order form that will be transmitted to us. At that time we will then send an email to confirm the order that will include the invoice and price of the order. We just wanted to create a easy way for customers to place orders for their corsage and Boutineres for the upcoming homecoming and winter formal.

Event Flowers At The Costa Mesa Hilton

Wow these pictures came out great. A recent event at the Costa Mesa Hilton we were asked to provide some designers choice flower arrangements for the event. Focussed around the type of food that was being served. It was a challenge with kids going for a ride but I think we pulled it off.
