Featured Arrangements By Everyday Flowers

We have just uploaded three new arrangements to the website. These arrangements will be featuring some of the local hydrangea that is no available. Hydrangea will be available throughout the summer months and will continue to change color until it reaches it antique green look around August to September.

Our first arrangement has a soft lavender hydrangea with Gerbera Daises Alstromeria Lisianthus and Seafoam Statice with a Tea Leaf wrapped in the rectangular glass vase. Many of our customers don't realize this but a majority of the flowers that we use in our arrangements are grown here in California. Mostly down in the San Diego farms where we see Stock Alstromeria Fillers including Wax Flower and Seafoam Statice. Even most of our greens that we use such as the many types of Eucalyptus and the Geranium Leaves.

Which brings us to our next arrangement. Our second arrangement has white hydrangea with Gerbera Daises Roses Alstromeria Yarrow Solidaster Eucalyptus and Chocolate Geranium leafs. The Chocoalte Geranium has an incredible scent to them as well as the hint of Eucalyptus really makes this arrangement complete.

Gerbera Daises are also grown down in the San Diego area and they need a good amount of sunlight to grow with nearly perfect temperature to grow which makes San Diego the perfect location to grow these incredible flowers.

Hydrangea is also grown in these farms and are available in many types and of course colors. Annabelle and Mophead Hydrangea are the most popular when it comes to florist.

Our final arrangement features Pink Hydrangea with Roses Alstromeria China Mum Hypericum Eucalyptus Wax Flower and to top it off we have a matching ribbon with a Manzanita Branch and matching butterfly.

These three arrangements mark the beginning of the Summer Season so look for new arrangements being added to the website as we begin to see the summer flowers begin to arrive in our store.

Christmas Flowers By Everyday Flowers

We have started to add some of our new Christmas Flowers to the website this week. One of our newest arrangements is called Glittering Christmas and it is a very unique arrangement. This arrangement arrives in a wooden container with lizianthus cymbidium orchids roses miniature apples cut limes and lemons hypericum and pine cones.

New Aurora Plush Stuffed Animals Added

We just added our new line of Stuffed Animals From Aurora Gifts. We have increassed our product line to include more of the Auroa Flopsie line. From Bears Cats And Dogs this line of stuffed animals has quickly become some of our customers favorite add on gifts.

Our new animals include.

This weeks featured arrangement is one of our new cube arrangements just added to the website. The Elegant Cube is a 4inch Glass Cube with Lilies Roses Stock and Alstromeria.

Local Florist Against Deception

The last couple of days florist across the country have been dealing with an unusual amount of negative press and the continue anti florist advertising from Proflowers.

A couple of days ago the CBS mourning show did a little PR work for Hallmark and Proflowers by offering to explain the 10 things that florist won't tell you from an article that was featured in Smart Money. Many florist across the country have sent in emails regarding the segment ad expressing their disappointment in the way the article and the broadcast portrayed all local florist.

This could be the final straw and now owners across the Untied States & Canada are fighting back. A video was recently released showing what could happen if your flowers where delivered by Proflowers and left up to the UPS or Fedex to deliver them. With total disregard to how the flowers are handled during the shipment process and left to the elements. The whole story about this can be read at the Bloomery Florist Blog.

Florist across the country have a message. They want consumers to understand that the deception of Online Flower Brokers have nothing to do with your local florist. To also understand that these companies that offer direct shipment of flowers do not offer fresher product then the product that florist carry within their coolers. Many of us are Professionals with years of designing, education and experience. Many of us love the work that we do and enjoy helping our customers express their feelings through given the gift of flowers.

I want to personally thank The Bloomery Florist for the work that they have done with their blog and helping to continue to keep the consumer informed.

We Began Working On Our Wedding Bouquet Photo Album For The Website. It will feature all of our Bride and Bridesmaid Bouquet. We are still working on gathering and editing pictures so that they are easly viewed on our website. Take a look and tell up what you think?

We will also begin to add prices to the bouquet to help future brides get an idea what they will be paying for their wedding bouquet.
